Colorado Camping Trip: A Weekend with my Sista
About a week ago, I got back from a trip to visit my little sister out in Colorado!
Homegirl is a baller shot caller of an 18 year old, who decided to move there for the summer to take part in an internship, climb some rocks, hike some trails, make some flower crowns, and hang out with our incredible family members (whom she is also living with). Um, hello, can I be her when I grow up?
Soooo, because she’s been missing from my life down here in Florida for way too long (since May), Jesús and I packed up and headed out there to see her for a long weekend. And it was. so. much. fun!
We visited Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs, camped in Carbondale, hiked THE prettiest part of Aspen (hello Maroon Bells), and rounded out our last few hours of the weekend in Denver, eating at CALL.
I documented (mostly) all of this goodness along the way, and I’m pumped to be sharing it now!
If you’re familiar with these areas, would you pass along some more recommendations my way in the comments!? I absolutely can’t wait to visit again.
Sending hugs!
Anna
My shirt and pants: both handmade by Ma Ma Osa!
This was my first time at Garden of the Gods, and I was absolutely blown away! This view tho!!!
As extra as it gets. Ha!
My newest friends. Made spontaneously on our drive home.
Taken on the way to our campsite in Carbondale.
The trail to Hanging Lake that about set my Florida legs on fire.
This place....
Would you believe me if I told you I was about 2 feet off the ground here? ;)
And then the Maroon Bells near Aspen proceeded to steal my heart....
You bet I hiked the whole 2 mile trail in my custom Ma Ma Osa 'Lara Dress'
You're pretty cute, Aspen!
I love this girl right here more than words can describe. So glad to have had this time with her!
Keep crushin' it , Amanda! I can't wait to hug you again in August!
