Women's Size 11 Shoe Guide
Hey! This post contains a lot of outside links, but it is NOT sponsored or linked up to affiliate pages in any way. I’m just sharing my personal recommendations for the fun of it. Enjoy!
Hey, I’m Anna. I’m an inch away from being 6 feet tall and have worn a Women/US Size 11 shoe since I was in middle school. Ya jealous?? Haha.
Needless to say, the struggle to shop for well fitting, cute, and quality made shoes has been an ongoing trend throughout my life.
It’s taken me a while to find a list of brand options which I love and trusted places to shop which check those 3 boxes (of style, quality and comfort) for me. I’m constantly on the hunt for more but I wanted to share what I’ve found so far with you!
Obviously this list is for women of all size feet, but for my feel size 11 gals out there…
Here’s where I love to shop for shoes!
Birkenstocks
Converse or Vans
ASOS - really great for cheaper options that are usually still comfortable and well made! Plus there’s a really large selection to choose from.
Nordstrom - tip: I check Nordstrom the most for sneakers or when the style of shoe I want from Madewell is sold out on their site in size 11 - often times Nordstrom will have them online!
Jenni Kayne - (a bougie-er option)
Christy Dawn - also a bit pricey, but they offer 11’s! Their Dawn Boot is a dream.
Everlane - although they tend to run small. I’m always holding out hope for Everlane’s 11 shoes to fit, but they haven’t worked for me yet. If you’re between a 10 and 11 - you’ll have a much better shot than me!
Finally, a fun little fyi - if you love Rifle Paper Co. and their Keds collaboration - they offer all their shoes in a women’s size 11, which I think is super fun.
In addition I wanted to highlight 4 specific pairs of shoes that I’ve purchased from this list over the years that I wear the MOST often. These 4 babies are the most comfortable, well made, (and in my opinion) stylish shoes I own. They’re classic and versatile, so they all pair effortlessly with my wardrobe on a daily basis. Here they are!
My 4 Shoe Staples:
1. Brown Leather Loafers
Mine are The Elinor Loafer from Madewell but it seems like they’re out of stock at the moment. A great alternative could be their new Alex Loafer (although I haven’t tried them for myself).
I bought my Elinor’s about 2 years ago, have resoled them once in between (which I highly recommend for leather shoes), and I still feel like they look almost new. They might be my favorite shoes I own and they’re so well made, that I imagine them living on for many years to come.
I especially love how timeless a basic leather loafer is and how versatile they are when styling outfits. I think they look cute paired with trousers, a dress, or vintage denim as a way of dressing things up in a subtle way.
2. White Sneakers
I don’t think I could ever go without a plain white sneaker in my wardrobe. I’ve worn out my white high-top converse, my white canvas Tretorn’s and now I’m constantly wearing my Reebok Club C 85 sneakers. They’re really freaking comfy and I picked them because the white leather seems to hold up the best against dirt compared to my white canvas sneakers of the past.
I’m a really big fan of juxtaposing the delicate nature of flowy dresses or skirts with the more utilitarian, sporty vibe of a white sneaker. I think there’s so much possibility and fun to be had with this concept. Still, you can never go wrong pairing this sneaker with a casual outfit as well. When I’m traveling and planning to walk a lot, I usually just pack my Reebok Club C 85’s and one dressier pair of shoes for a nice dinner out.
3. Black Chelsea Boots
Gosh, I love a good chelsea boot so much. I wish Florida would let me wear them for more than a few months out of the year. I don’t have enough nice things to say about my Women’s Dress Boots by Blundstone. They’re weather proof, sleek, and hella comfortable. I took these on an international trip when I first got them without having the time to break them in first (generally would not recommend that)… I wore them to walk miles all over a cold and rainy city and didn’t get a single blister!! They’re incredible.
I loved pairing them with my camel blazer/coat and new Everlane 90’s denim while we were in New York. I also think they look cool with some black skinny jeans and an oversized top or sweater. Heck, why not try them with a dress or shorts for that matter. Go crazy. They’re cool boots and they’ll last you for years and years.
4. A Simple Sandal (PONS Avarcas)
Living in such a tropical place, it’s important to let my feet breathe with something simple and casual. I’ve really fallen in love with PONS Avarcas for my go-to simple sandal. They’re handmade in Spain with impeccable craftsmanship and quality, thick leather, and they’re $85. I’ve had mine for two years, have worn them to the ground, and I’m now looking to get a second pair. These are amazing because the leather really molds to your feet over time, and I think the Spanish style gives them a unique look that you don’t see too often in the states.
I always tend to pair my PONS with simple sundresses or casual looks. I take them to the beach a lot too and wear them to take care of my little garden. They’re super sweet shoes to have around.
Regardless of your shoe size, I hope you found this helpful! Leave a comment and let me know!
